Tony Stephenson
Managing Director
Tony founded Traplet Publications in 1981 with the launch of our first magazine title, Radio Race Car International. During his time with the company, Tony has overseen the launch of another dozen magazine titles, a specialised plans and parts service for RC models, books and DVDs. Tony enjoys interacting with our customers as he often can be found at events around the world, including the popular Florida Jets.
Tom Stephenson
Operations Director
Tom has worked with Traplet Publications since 2002 following his motorcycle ride from Tokyo to London prior to joining the family business. He has worked his way through the company, initially being involved within the Despatch and Accounts departments. For two years he was involved within the Video Production department, editing and filming Traplet DVDs. He has been Operations Director for Traplet since 2006 and now deals with most areas of the business, including Sales and Marketing issues. Tom’s involvement within the company will ensure the continuity that many of our customers have enjoyed over the years.
Julie Arnett
Art Production Manager
Julie joined Traplet ten years ago as a graphic designer working in the Art & Production department on several titles. A year and a half ago she became Art & Production Manager and loves the challenges this brings. She is amazed by how much knowledge she has gained through working on all the Traplet titles, both by designing the layouts and also through representing the company at numerous public shows.
Paul Davis
Retail Sales Manager
Paul was born and brought up in Worcester before moving to nearby Droitwich Spa after marrying in October 2005. After holding office junior positions with both West Mercia Constabulary and a local engineering company, Paul joined the Accounts Department of Traplet Publications Limited in January 1999 before moving across to Customer Services and working his way up to Retail Sales Manager in March 2007.
Stephanie Hill
Advertising Team Leader
Stephanie Hill, Advertising Team Leader joined Traplet Publications Ltd in January 2001, with 11 years sales experience. Steph has been working on the following titles since beginning at Traplet Publications; Patchwork & Quilting, Sewing World and Military In Scale and has built up a strong working relationship with our loyal customer base. In addition to supporting existing customers Steph enjoys enlisting new advertisers, enabling them to progress and maximise their target audience.
Steph has a team of four sales executives and one copy controller who work very hard to meet our advertisers’ needs and are always happy to help with any questions you may have.
Pat Howard
Despatch Manager
Pat moved to Malvern from Aberdeen in June 2002 looking for new challenges and opportunities having previously pursued various careers including managing her own business. She started working for Traplet Publications in July 2002 as Despatch Assistant. Six months later she took over as Despatch Manager and has since obtained her forklift driver’s licence in order to be “hands on” in Traplet’s extensive warehouse.
