Tony van Geffen
RC Model World

Tony van Geffen, a modeller since 1975 who has served on the committees of several aeromodelling clubs and has worked professionally in the aeromodelling industry since 1985. He has flown aerobatics, gliders and pylon racing. Now his interest is mainly plan built scale models as well as full-size restoration. He is keen to promote and enthuse others with a love of the hobby.


Chris Bowler
RC Model World

Assistant Editor, Chris Bowler was a regular contributor before taking up his post. He has been modelling since childhood and is mainly interested in scale models. He is the chairman of a flying club and enjoys promoting the hobby to anyone who will listen. Like the editor he builds and flies some of the review models.


Mike Nott
Quiet and Electric Flight International

Mike Nott joined Traplet Publications as editor in November 2001 and was tasked with the amalgamation of two existing magazines to form Quiet and Electric Flight International. He is an experienced model aeroplane enthusiast who is pro-active in ensuring that Quiet and Electric Flight International continues to exceed its readers expectations.


John Wright
RC Jet International

John Wright, has been the editor of RC Jet International magazine since April 2006, He was previously a founder/director of Wren Turbines in the UK. The key contributors are all experts in their own fields, but we also include contributions from those representative of the average jet modeller.


Jon Tanner
Model Helicopter World

Jon Tanner has been building and flying RC model helicopters since 1986 and writing about them since 1990. He has been a contributor/Editor for Model Helicopter World since September 1992 and full time Editor since March 1997.

The key contributors are all highly experienced enthusiasts with many years experience of the sport. Product reviews are undertaken by team members with a technical background and are independent of the product being reviewed.


Dez Chand
Radio Race Car International

Dez Chand is a Design Engineer and action photographer by trade, which explains his passion for motion and drama. Our photos pop from the page helped by stylish layout and presentation generated by our dedicated production crew. From early teens to present day, Dez has proved competitive in every formula he has turned his hand to, so when people see him racing the latest product they know what it is capable of.


Barrie Stevens
Marine Modelling International

Barrie Stevens has been in post of editor of Marine Modelling International magazine since December 2007 prior to this he was a regular contributor for many years.. The contributors are chosen for their skills and experience in Maritime Modelling enabling them to share their knowledge with the readership.


Spencer Pollard
Military In Scale

Spencer Pollard has been building military models for many years now as well as writing about and reviewing kits. Spencer’s first ever issue for Military In Scale was September 1997, and since then it has grown from strength to strength. The key contributors are all highly experienced enthusiasts with many years experience of military modelling. Product reviews are undertaken by team members with a technical background and are independent of the product being reviewed.


Peter White
Truck Model World

Truck Model Worlds Editor is Peter White. As well as editing Truck Model World since Issue One, he also contributes to a major trucking magazine in the UK, and has won many national and international awards for his own truck models. Other contributors include professional model builders, and of course, readers themselves.


Wendy Gardiner
Sewing World

Wendy Gardiner has been in the sewing publishing industry for over 20 years has written 8 books and produced and starred in 6 videos/DVDS; Alison Smith, who also runs her own sewing school and fabric shop; Jennie Rayment, well known fabric manipulator with an international audience; Janet Moville - a highly popular teacher with her own expanding sewing school and Ruth Cox, a rising star with particular expertise in machine embroidery. Others not mentioned personally are also all leading experts in their fields.


Katy Fox
Craft Stamper

Katy Fox has been into crafting since childhood. She is passionate about stamping and also loves to scrapbook - her favourite crafty creations are minibooks which combine the two disciplines perfectly. She loves nothing more than spending time in her craft room creating pretty things, and describes her style as contemporary and clean, though she likes to experiment with different looks. Katy never has any money because she spends it all on stash and usually has multi-coloured fingers from playing with inky things.

Before working on Craft Stamper, Katy spent many years as a Project Manager so is very used to the deadline-driven nature of publishing work. She is now working in her dream job - reading about, writing about, and playing with stamps - and she loves being able to bring inspiring ideas and new techniques to readers.


Michelle Powell
Beads & Beyond

Michelle, Editor, is the author of ten craft books and has edited three craft magazines. She has worked in the craft industry for fifteen years, designing products and creating step-by-step articles.

“My love of crafting started as a child with a passion for making felt toys, bead jewellery and paper dolls. Thirty years later nothing much has changed, except I now I get paid! I’ve worked in the craft industry for fifteen years, designing products, creating step by step articles, writing ten craft books and editing three craft magazines. Having just had a little girl I’m looking forward to returning to work as Editor of Beads and Beyond magazine.”


Rebecca Hughes

Rebecca, Assistant Editor, has been designing and creating jewellery for many years and is also an expert behind the camera lens! Together, with Michelle Powell, they are transforming Beads and Beyond into a modern design-led magazine filled with gorgeous wearable jewellery and attractive beaded makes and projects.

British Patchworld & Quilting

Dianne Huck has been the editor since 1985 offering her vast amount of experience to new beginners and the more experienced. Our Contributors range from very well known British or international quilters who write regularly to ‘ordinary’ quilters who have made something we think our readers would be interested in.
